EU legislation requires to have available the technical documentation of a product for at least 10 years after end of sales period and to be able to provide these on request of authorities. This documentation shall include the manufacturers Declaration of Conformity (DoC) and Technical Construction File (TCF), including the relevant conformity assessment documents such as EMC test report, Safety test report, circuit diagram, photographs, operation manual and other relevant files for design of product.
Panasonic Testing Centre has established the Technical Documents Control (TDC) at 01st October 1994 for registration and safekeeping the documents and files for Panasonic and Technics models in EU.
For products falling under the scope of the R&TTE Directive the DoC's furthermore are published under DoC / R&TTE.
